Dirty Holly: Raw, Gritty, and Unapologetic

DIRTY HOLLY is an all-girl punk rock band from Atlanta, GA—the kind your mom definitely warned you about. What started as a pandemic garage band project quickly ignited into a feverish full-band reality, and they bring the heat every time they hit the stage. Blending punk, grunge, garage rock, and ’70s/’80s rock ’n’ roll attitude, DIRTY HOLLY makes loud, hook-heavy music with a healthy dose of weird.

After years in cover bands, these rebels set out to create something uniquely their own—fusing the raw energy of bands like Joan Jett, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, and L7 with their grungy alternative roots and a love for heavy, driving riffs. Their songs wander through retro horror, melancholic doo-wop, spacey psychedelia, backwater surf, skate punk, and whatever else sounds good turned up way too loud.

In July 2022, they dropped their first fiery anthem, “Give ’Em Hell,” and have been steadily building their catalog and their live reputation ever since. Their 2025 EP, Off the Lip, pushed further into their surf-punk and garage-rock side, while years of playing everything from tiny one-stoplight towns to packed festival stages have sharpened DIRTY HOLLY into the loud, sweaty, unapologetic live band they are today.

Now DIRTY HOLLY is gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut full-length album on October 9, 2026, followed by their album release show on October 10. The album brings together the band's many weird little corners—punk, grunge, hard rock, horror, surf, and straight-up rock ’n’ roll—into one dirty, loud, distinctly DIRTY HOLLY record.

They’ve shared the stage with national and major touring acts including War on Women, L7, Joan Jett, Dead Reckoning, Vera Bloom, and Trashy Annie, and continue to build their live presence across Atlanta, the South East and beyond. With new music already planned for 2027 and more touring on the horizon, DIRTY HOLLY is only getting louder.
